Jeremy didn't hide his dissapointment
"This detail has nearly doomed us Rex, don't You think so?".
Stabbing it with a screwdriver actually did a decent job. Kid looked at the small part regulating the heat of Rex's gun. A tiny diode now started to glow with subtle, yellow light.
"I don't think it will work for too long though, it's already black near the wires, can You see it Rex?"
Mech didn't answer, obviously, at least not outside the kid's reality.
"We will have to find another one quickly. It shouldn't be hard I think.
If only dad had left any parts... But You'll see Rex, he will come back! He will!"
Dust causes tears to drop, that's what Jeremy has told to Rex.
It is time to get going. Radiation in the room is too high.
"Come on Rex, let's move!"

Love the story. Your shading is exceptional like always! The way you can hint at the shapes without outlining them completely speaks levels about your ability to shade! Keep up the good work!
